01 Feb Wonton Soup

- 6 oz. Chow Mein Noodles
- 6 oz. Pork Wontons
- 1 Tsp. Vegetable oil
- ½ Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1/3 Tsp. Ginger
- 1 cup Chicken stock
- ½ Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- ½ Tbsp. Scallion, sliced
- 1. Chow Mein Noodles are precooked and ready to use. Defrost noodles under running water or blanch in hot water for 1-2 minutes. Remove and drain excess water.
- 2. In a sauce pot, heat vegetable oil on low heat, add garlic and ginger and cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
- 3. Add chicken stock and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
- 4. Place frozen Pork Wonton in boiling water for 1.5-2 minutes, drain and put in boiling broth. Add Chow Mein Noodles to the broth. Top with scallion. Ready to serve.
