Wonton Soup

A delicious classic Chinese soup made with decadent Pork Wontons and Chow Mein Noodles in a light savory broth made of chicken stock, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Amoy Chow Mein Noodles
    (Prepare the Noodles according to the cooking instructions on the packaging, set aside)
  • 6 oz. Amoy Pork Wontons
  • 1 Tsp. Vegetable oil
  • ½ Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1/3 Tsp. Ginger
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • ½ Tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • ½ Tbsp. Scallion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Amoy Chow Mein Noodles are precooked and ready to use.
  2. In a sauce pot, heat vegetable oil on low heat, add garlic and ginger and cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
  3. Add chicken stock and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Place frozen Amoy Pork Wontons in boiling water for 1.5-2 minutes, drain and put in boiling broth. Add Amoy Chow Mein Noodles to the broth. Top with scallion. Ready to serve.
