PrintWonton Soup
A delicious classic Chinese soup made with decadent Pork Wontons and Chow Mein Noodles in a light savory broth made of chicken stock, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Amoy Chow Mein Noodles
(Prepare the Noodles according to the cooking instructions on the packaging, set aside) - 6 oz. Amoy Pork Wontons
- 1 Tsp. Vegetable oil
- ½ Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1/3 Tsp. Ginger
- 1 cup Chicken stock
- ½ Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- ½ Tbsp. Scallion, sliced
Instructions
- Amoy Chow Mein Noodles are precooked and ready to use.
- In a sauce pot, heat vegetable oil on low heat, add garlic and ginger and cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
- Add chicken stock and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
- Place frozen Amoy Pork Wontons in boiling water for 1.5-2 minutes, drain and put in boiling broth. Add Amoy Chow Mein Noodles to the broth. Top with scallion. Ready to serve.
